Senator Cappelli organic durum wheat semolina - 750 g

It is a medium granulometry product essentially useful for the creation of pasta with a rustic flavor and rich in fibres. It can be used alone or mixed with finer flours which improve the amalgamation. Excellent for extruded and dried pasta.

It is certainly the most cultivated ancient grain in Italy and was selected by the genius agronomist geneticist Nazareno Strampelli. It is the father of all modern grains and until the 1960s it was the most cultivated durum wheat in Italy. It is characterized by its high rusticity and the ability to adapt to dry soils thanks also to the strong root development.
From Senator Cappelli we obtain high quality semolina useful for making pasta and finer flours for bread and pizza. Both are rich in magnesium, potassium, calcium, zinc and B vitamins along with vitamin E.
